2017 Allure’s Best of Beauty Awards
To celebrate 21 years of Best of Beauty— the annual reveal of the 300 best and most innovative beauty products, editor in chief Michelle Lee asked our team to create a dynamic and socially-driven signature activation for the Allure brand. It was also important to create a visually dynamic presentation of the coveted Best of Beauty x AWAY suitcase filled with 300+ beauty products (valued at $3,500+) gifted to guests upon departure.
Creative strategy & Event planning:
Developed concept, pitched, and won project against Allure’s incumbent agency
Conceptualized the look and feel of the party to create high-impact and insta-worthy displays featuring art, culture, and beauty:
Dreamt up eye-catching whimsical lip sculpture created out of hundreds of lipsticks and 2 large “lollipops” comprised of makeup brushes
Arranged 300 beauty products into 13 visual dynamic categories
Managed the guest list and invitation process
Selected the venue, party rentals and staffing, photographer, catering, florist, DJ
Coordinated the speaker lineup and run of show, and securing highly coveted gift bag
