2018 SundanceTV HQ at The Sundance Film Festival
SundanceTV asked our team to dream up SundanceTV HQ; a cozy oasis in the mountains of Utah for consumers, filmmakers, actors, producers, and press, to share content, learn from each other, and talk shop while authentically integrating ad sales partners. SundanceTV also wanted to spotlight its hit TV program of the year, Hap and Leonard, with a WOW moment. interactive activation.
Creative strategy:
Dreamt up the HQ’s design and ‘Hap and Leonard Escape the Set’ themed escape room
Conceptualized, ideated, and executed the story, set design, 7 interactive puzzles, actor’s scripts, staffing, costuming, and sound effects
1000+ attendees spent 15 minutes in the room to solve the series of puzzles and escape Tim’s Garage, manned by 2 unruly gas station attendant actors
Developed the LIFEWTR Gallery and Hydration station where attendees could learn about arts in education.
Drove press, network awareness, and overall engagement among an influential festival audience through an interactive multi-use space and robust social media strategy
The 2018 SundanceTV HQ authentically showcased SundanceTV as an authority in TV and film with 2 weeks of engaging panels, parties, and events in collaboration with supporting partners Shudder, LIFEWTR, Hollywood Foreign Press, and THE MOTH.
