Dreamworks Animation Trolls x Macy’s
In the fall of 2016, Macy’s embarked on its first-ever total store multifaceted collaboration, inviting customers to #gethappy through a multi-million dollar partnership with DreamWorks Animation on the release of Trolls. Macy's mission was to create a partnership where both parties could drive revenue and gain new customers.
Project management and content creation:
Main liaison and leader for 400+ DreamWorks and Macy's merchants, marketing and PR responsible for keeping both companies’ visions aligned on product and marketing
Directed over 30 buying teams to create Trolls themed product by providing mood materials and trend direction for different customer segments
Executed a 2 month promotional, traditional, and digital marketing plan and calendar
Consulted with the visual team to design the in store presentation for over 600 stores and the windows at Macy’s Herald Square
The collaboration drove revenue and recognition for both the Trolls movie and Macy’s brand. Associating with the movie franchise continued to build the next generation of Macy’s customers.
